 Fairway Primary School is a community school situated in the North West of the Borough of Barnet. Although very near to the A1, it is situated in the pleasant surroundings of the Green Belt. It borders Mill Hill Golf Course and the playing fields of Northway School. We are very fortunate to have two playgrounds and several fields. We also have a pond as part of our environmental area, which the children use under supervision. Our school opened in 1952 and is a one-form entry co-educational non-denominational school where children of many different faiths and cultures learn happily together.
We believe that close co-operation between home and school, committed and caring staff and a structured and exciting curriculum enables children to achieve high standards. Our aim is to encourage care and courtesy, self-confidence and independence in all our pupils and to make education a challenge and a delight. |
