30th March 2010
Dear Parents/Carers
Here is a quick newsletter to update you before the Easter holiday.
New Dates (Primary School and Nursery) We are moving (again)!
The move in to the new school is racing towards us. It is a really exciting time for us all and the building is going up really quickly. I have already had a site tour and all works are on schedule to finish on time for us to move in during December/January.
In order for this to happen we will need to close the school slightly earlier this December and open later in January 2011. Please see attached new term dates.
E-safety Evening

We all want our children to be safe and an area which is becoming a concern to us all is ‘e-safety’ – safety whilst using technology e.g. internet, mobiles etc. We will be holding an e-safety evening to help you with this difficult area on 24th May at 3:45pm . Please come along.
Nursery Open Evening – 8th July 2010
Our Nursery will be holding an open evening from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on the 8th July. All welcome! If you know of any neighbours or friends children that might want to send their children to the Nursery, please tell them about this evening.
Dance Festival
A group of 20 dancers represented Fairway in the annual dance festival at the Arts Depot in Finchley. They really did a fantastic job performing ‘Pot Black’ which was a dance about snooker! The Mayor, who was there on the day, apparently said it was his favourite dance! Well done to all the dancers.
Football and Netball
Well done to all those children who took part in the League matches.
Packed lunch
Once again, if your child is on packed lunch please make sure it is put in a lunch box. Please include a spare bag so that yoghurt pots can be put inside the box to take home therefore minimising mess etc.
Gardening Club
A big thank you to Charlotte, Mrs Potts, Rhys and Gareth Richards and Mrs Brimson for digging the garden area for the Club. A special thank you to Mr Richards for shifting all the earth given by Kier into the planting boxes so the children can plant their seeds.
I hope you all have a good Easter break and I look forward to seeing you next term.
Yours sincerely

Ms Jan Parker
Head Teacher
