At Fairway Primary School we recognise that many children at some stage in their education may have a Special Educational Need. We are committed to a whole school approach and aim to ensure each child has full access to the Curriculum by adapting our teaching methods and resources to the learning needs of the individual child. The Class Teacher, together with the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, support staff and the parents / carers concerned will work out a programme for a child by means of an individual education plan which will be regularly monitored and reviewed.

We aim to identify any Special Education Need as early as possible and we encourage you to contact us at an early stage if you feel your child has a particular problem or difficulty.

As with all our policies, Fairway Special Education Needs Policy is available for parents / carers to view.
